CHOICES DENTAL HYGIENE CARE

As a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist, my career began more than 30 years ago, after graduating from Durham College, in both the Assisting and Dental Hygiene Programs. My  experiences brought me together with some phenomenal mentors, who encouraged me to elevate my goals, delving into both Restorative Dental Hygiene as well as educating and consulting. In addition to enhancing my formal education at both George Brown College and Brock University, I have also placed a strong focus on my work in Periodontal Specialty, having been fortunate enough to work closely with 3 the area's most respected and well known Periodontists.  

In addition to my periodontal specialty work, I also have a strong focus on delivering care to the geriatric community. My past affiliation with providing dental care to those in long term care facilities, supports the needed skills for helping those with cognitive challenges, including Alzheimers and Dementia.

Outside of my career, my family life keeps me busy and active. My school aged son and daughter have me at the basketball court or in an intense battle on the Xbox - challenging "Mom" to see if she's "Got what it takes!" So far, I'm still the reigning champ - but I'm warned - "Not much longer, Mom"!
